The Rising Sun Blues:
Today I'm blowing my sax.
"House of the Rising Sun" aka "Rising Sun Blues", tells of a life gone wrong in New Orleans. Many claims have cropped up as to where in New Orleans was this House of the Rising Sun. Was it a flop house on Conti Street in the Old Quarters, or was it a Pleasure Club on the riverfront of the uptown Carrolton neighborhood? Some claim it was run by a Madam Mrianne LeSoleil Levant. Translated from French 'LeDoleil Levant' means 'The Rising Sun'. Or was the House of the Rising Sun a metaphor for the slave pens of the old plantations or maybe the whole plantation itself. Maybe there never was a House of the Rising Sun. Maybe the House of the Rising Sun is just a bunch of lyrics. Or maybe, just maybe, The House of the Rising Sun is just a bunch of notes reverberating from a horn echoing the Rising Sun Blues.

there is a house in Florida where a man blows his sax .And he shows us small amounts of his life. but the sax and the 12 string guitar are his release and we enjoy it .
